Expandi vs TetherReach: the same fields, filled in honestly

TL;DR: Expandi vs TetherReach is cloud against your own computer. Expandi runs your LinkedIn account on its servers with a dedicated IP, adds email and InMail, and costs $99 per month. TetherReach runs on your Mac or PC in a separate Chrome window, from €19 per LinkedIn account per month, or €12 paid yearly, excl. VAT. Pick Expandi for hands-off cloud sending; pick TetherReach to keep the work on your computer.
How we compared
Menno Gottmer builds TetherReach, so this is not a neutral page. The rules are the same as in our Linked Helper comparison: the same fields for both, a source for every Expandi fact, and “not stated” where the vendor’s own pages say nothing. We opened Expandi’s public pages on 24 September 2026. We did not create an account or pay. TetherReach facts come from its code on the same day.
How it runs
Expandi says it “runs from the cloud” with a “dedicated country-specific IP” per account, so your computer can be off. TetherReach does every step on your own computer, where you signed in to LinkedIn yourself (how TetherReach runs). That means the computer stays on during a campaign.
Try it yourself, no payment details
Create an account, import a small list and review your first campaign as a draft. Nothing is sent before you have checked it. Mac or Windows + Chrome; you install the desktop app yourself in fifteen minutes.

Pace and replies
Expandi picks a random number within a daily range, for example 20 to 27 messages. TetherReach uses a cap per action that you set, sends 90 to 100% of it on a given day, and keeps active hours and 5 to 20 minutes between invitations and messages (limits and hours). Both pause a person who replies (how replies work).
Price and trial
Expandi charges $99 per account per month, $79 billed yearly, with taxes by country. One plan with every feature. You pay per LinkedIn account. TetherReach shows prices in euros excl. VAT (our pricing). Both trials say nothing is charged until you choose to pay.
When Expandi is the better pick
Choose Expandi when sending must continue with your computer off, you want email steps in the same campaign, or you run white-label outreach for clients.
When TetherReach fits better
Choose TetherReach when you want LinkedIn to see your own computer and browser, one plan with every feature, and 14 days to try instead of 7.
